1. McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Centers is one of the only funeral homes owned and operated by long-time residents of the area. Since 1933, the McCoy-Blossom Funeral & Cremation Centers have served the Lincoln and Pike County areas with caring compassion. We are the LARGEST facility totally dedicated to serving area families.
2. For the past 29 years, the Blossom family has continued the tradition of caring for the families they serve. We are the only funeral home in area having three generations of the Blossom family serving our community.
3. All of the McCoy-Blossom facilities are totally handicapped accessible and are located on one level.
4. All of our staff members are local residents with many years of local knowledge and the ability to serve every family with care,compassion,and concern.
5. All of the embalming and other specialized funeral preparations are completed in our facilities,by our own family members.
6. We are the only funeral home in Lincoln and Pike counties that has a walk-in refrigerated cooler for the temporary holding of human remains. This feature makes it possible for a family to have much more time for planning or waiting for out-of-town family members to return for funeral services.
7. Arrangement conferences, visitations and funerals & cremation services are held with an owner present at all times.

13. We put your family and your needs first, ALWAYS. You will never get an answering machine when you call our funeral home. You will always be received by a caring member of our staff. Your family is ALWAYS our only priority, not all funeral homes are alike!
14. During the visitation and service time, our large lounge area is always available for use. In addition,we have a new banquet/reception center that can serve 150 people. The banquet/reception area is all on one level at the east end of our facility and is 100% handicapped accessible. This area is very open with many windows to let the sunlight stream in a very peaceful room.
15. We also provide grief support meetings and anyone is welcome to attend. Mrs. Jan Burkemper has been conducting these meetings for many years. She too has experienced a loss in her life, and is a licensed counselor who is very caring. Grief support will be held the 2nd Monday of every month from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at our Troy facility.
