As Jim Blossom explains further " funeral homes that do not operate their own crematory must transfer your loved one to another company. This is often a third party commercial crematory unknown to the family of the loved one and located in another city or county. When this is the case, the original funeral home loses control of the process." As previously mentioned, only families served by McCoy-Blossom will able to use the crematory equipment. There are crematories that allow other funeral homes to use their equipment. Some allow law enforcement to use it to destroy contraband. Families often want the cremation process to be conducted quickly so they can hold services with their loved one's cremains present. Others want to transfer the cremated remains to another city for services. By reserving our crematory for the families we serve, we can respond immediately to any request. Owning and operating our own crematory is simply the right thing to do as a family-owned and operated funeral home. We offer traditional services, cremation services, traditional with cremation services, immediate burial, pre-arrangement options, anatomical donation, with economical packages for all. You will always meet with a member of the Blossom Family, which ensures that you will receive top-notch service and accountability. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

In addition, unlike like some other local funeral homes, our ownership has never changed. For 41 years, our family has owned & operated our funeral homes.
