Obituary

Antone "Butch" Boschert,73, of Troy, MO, passed away on December 2, 2022. He was born March 6, 1949 in Creve Coeur, MO to Elmer Joseph and Carmen "Peggy" Ann (Dorias) Boschert. Butch grew up in St. Charles area with his siblings and attended the local schools. Butch and Susan (Haywood)  were united in marriage on October 24, 1970. To this union were born; Suzette, "Jesse" Antone Jr., Joshua. Butch was a hard worker and always provided for his family as a painter and laborer. Over the years he worked for Bickmeyer Painting, Kaplan Lumber and Ed Crow Homes. He never missed a day of work, even when they did not have a car he would hitchhike to work so he could provide for his family. The family had only an old wood stove for heat, Butch did not have a chain saw , so he would have the kids help gather wood and cut it by hand with a bow saw. He did not have a truck , so it all went in the back of his big green Cadillac.  The love that he had for his family was immense and he would do anything for them. He did enjoy coon hunting, fishing, squirrel hunting, arrowhead collecting and model cars. Butch's favorite times were spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and always a smile on his face. Butch and Susan would play dice and card games as soon as Susan returned from work everday, he was ready to play. He was a kind, loving, hardworking man who will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
