Arthur E. Sieker, 95, of Troy, MO, passed away on May 30, 2024 at St. Joseph West Hospital- Lake St. Louis, MO. He was born on December 2, 1928 in Webster Groves, MO.

He attended the local schools, along with his siblings, Raymond and Dorothy. Art met the love of his life, Jeanette (Schewe) at a Lutheran Church youth group. They were later united in marriage on May 27, 1950 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in St. Louis, MO. Art and Jan had three children; Lyn, Gary and Jill. He was employed with Charter National Life Insurance Company in Clayton, MO for over 20 years until his retirement. Once retired, Art and Jan took bus trips all over the United States and were able to see most of the states. Art and his entire family dearly loved the annual Apple Butter making event at their home every October.  They were also devoted members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Troy, MO. Art will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 74 years, Jeanette Sieker of Troy, MO, his children, Lyn and husband Mark Benoist of Foley, MO, Gary and wife Katherine  Sieker of O'Fallon, MO and Jill and husband Timothy Brewer of St. Peters, MO, grandchildren, Joel and Kannika Benoist, Jordan and Amy Benoist, Joshua and Emily Benoist, Jenna and Timothy Maricle, Anthony and Kristina Chumbley, Brendan Sieker, Hannah Sieker, Ashley Brewer and Christian and Kelsey Brewer, great-grandchildren, James, Carter, A.J., Rae, Hattie and Hallie (on-the-way), and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Art is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Raymond and Dorothy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 9:00  a.m. until  10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1307 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.

Funeral - will also be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Troy.   Rev. Garry McCracken to officiate.  Interment- Private Family interment to follow in Whispering Winds Cemetery Winfield, MO.
