Today, Heaven gained a beautiful angel, and the heart and soul of our family, with the passing of  Audrey Stanek Roth. Audrey passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022, surrounded by the love of her husband and sons. She was 71 years old. Audrey was born on September 19, 1950 to Paul and Dorothy Stanek of Hawk Point, MO. She attended St. Mary' Catholic School in Hawk Point and was a 1969 graduate of Buchanan High School in Troy. After graduating, Audrey attended Northeast Missouri State University where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Education. Audrey was a beloved 3rd and 6th grade teacher in the Lincoln County School District for 30 years until her retirement in 2008. During her time as an educator, she earned a Masters of Education at Southwest Baptist University and was loved by her many students. Audrey married Frank Roth III of Truxton, MO on June 28, 1975. After enjoying married life for a few years, her first son Frank Roth IV was born in 1980. Her second son, Daniel Roth, was then born in 1982. Audrey was a devoted and caring mother. She loved her children fiercely and was the heart of her family even as they started their adult lives. Once her sons had children of their own, she shined as a loving grandma. You could always find her attending show choir competitions, baseball games, school events, or anywhere else her grandchildren asked her to be. She didn't want to miss a moment and made being a grandma her priority. In addition to her own family, Audrey had a giving spirit and enjoyed caring for everyone in her life. Whether it was checking in with a neighbor, visiting her nieces and nephews, or spending weekends at the lake with her sisters, she truly blessed all who knew her. Audrey was a lifelong Cardinals fan who rarely missed watching a game. She was always ready to discuss the latest players or how she thought the season would go that year.

Audrey is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Frank Roth III, her sons Frank (Fran) Roth IV of Troy and Daniel (Nicole) Roth of Wentzville, and her five grandchildren Eva, Grace, Frank V, Lucas, and Logan Roth. She is also survived by her many brothers and sisters: Ed (Glenda) Stanek of St. Charles, Frank (Sharon) Stanek of Hawk Point, Charlotte Smith of Flint Hill, Evelyn Hueffmeier of Wentzville, Dottie (Jim) Caldwell of Troy, Pat (Mike) Mottert of St. Charles, Bill (Gail) Stanek, Bob (Pam) Stanek, John Stanek, Joe (Karen Stanek) all of Hawk Point,  and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Audrey was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Dorothy Stanek, her sisters Mary Wisely and Jeannie Hartmann, 4 brothers-in-law Roland Smith, Hobert Hueffmeier, Richard Hartmann, and Richard Wisely, sister-in-law, Arnoldine Stanek,  and a nephew Patrick Stanek.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 28, 2022, 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., and also Friday, July 29, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until 9:15 a.m., at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.

A funeral mass is scheduled for Friday, July 29, 2022, 10:00 a.m., at St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Hawk Point, MO.  Fr. John Keenoy to officiate.  Interment to follow in Mashek Cemetery, Hwy AA, Troy, MO. Memorials may be made to the Audrey Roth Elementary Scholarship Fund c/o the funeral home.
