Ava Valerie Hall, 73, of Moscow Mills, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Saturday January 21, 2023 at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur Missouri. Ava was born February 28, 1949 in Hannibal Missouri to William and Muriel (Branstetter) Anderson. She was raised in the Quad Cities, Illinois and graduated from Rock Island High School. Robert (Bob) Hall and Ava were married at Edgewood Baptist Church in Rock Island Illinois. They were blessed with three daughters: Tina, Jennifer, and Melissa, who were born there as well. While raising her family, Ava, worked as an accounting clerk for various businesses. In 2017, they settled in Moscow Mills, Missouri and she was a member of First Christian Church for many years. Ava loved to travel, the beach, sunny days and laughter. She also loved decorating, dancing, her dog Lola and cat Pretty Boy, but most of all her family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of over 55 years, Bob Hall and her daughters:  Tina Summers of Troy Missouri, Jennifer and husband Michael Creek of Troy Missouri, and Melissa Carroll of Winfield Missouri. She is also survived by her mother Muriel Hall of Davenport Iowa, and her sister Ellen and husband Jamie Garrett of Memphis Missouri. Ava is further survived by her four grandchildren:   Nicholas Folkman, Camryn Mosty, Morgan Creek, Cruz Carroll and nephews Jared, Jacob, and Justin.

The family has arranged for a Celebration of life service to be held at First Christian Church in Troy on Sunday, January 29,2023. The Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m - 3:00 p.m. and Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Dr. Jeff Moore to officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church, c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location.
