B. Dianne Adcock, 66, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on January 23, 1957 in St.Charles, MO to Herbert and Jeannette (Sitton) Hooks.  Dianne was the oldest of her four siblings.  After graduating from Winfield High School, she went to Pike/Lincoln Tech. school and became an L.P.N.  For over 30 years, she had worked as a dedicated and caring nurse to so many patients at Lincoln Cty. Hospital, now known as Mercy.

She was blessed with two children: Drew and Carla who were her pride and joy.  Some of her pastimes were reading, watching sports on T.V., crocheting quilts for all of her family members but especially spending time with her grandchildren.  Dianne appreciated each and everyone of her family members and loved being with them.  She was a loving, nuturing mother, daughter, sister and grandmother who will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who loved her.

Surviving are her devoted children: Drew (Samantha) Adcock of St. Louis, Carla (Don) Creech of Troy; her mother, Jeannette Hooks of Winfield; her four adoring grandchildren:  Bryson, Aubrey, Emit and Sophia.  Dianne is further survived by her four siblings: Herbert (Karen) Hooks, Jr. of Troy, Annette Mills of Elsberry, Lisa (Alan) Tayon of Winfield, Anna Marie Hooks of Winfield; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Hubert Hooks, Sr., her grandson, Charles and her brother-in-law, Allen Mills.
