Barbara "Barb" E. Smith, 78, of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away on March 24, 2026 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 8, 1948 in St. Charles, MO, the daughter of Elvin and Lillian (Merx) Tesson. Barb was united in marriage with Mike Smith on August 23, 1969 in St. Charles, MO. They were high school sweethearts and had been married for 56 years. Barb was an excellent homemaker and took great care of her family. They traveled all over doing big family trips to Michigan, South Dakota and Gulf Shores, Alabama. She enjoyed baking, fishing, reading and spending time outdoors. Barb loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Barbara is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Mike Smith of Moscow Mills, MO, her children, Daniel (Kara) Smith of Columbia, MO and their two children, Madelynn and Charlotte and Sarah (Tanner) Marvin of Lee's Summit, MO and their two children, Colwyn and Liev, her sister, Judith Engel of St. Charles, MO, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 1:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1307 Boone Street, Troy, MO.

Memorial Service will also be held on Monday, March 30,2026 at 3 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church
