Barbara "Barb" Smith passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. She was born on July 12, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan to Robert and Elisabeth (Nelson) Foisy. Barbara was the beloved wife of Robert Smith for 42 years until his passing in 2000. She lived in Naples, Florida for 30 years before moving to Moscow Mills.

She loved going to the beach and soaking up the sun. Barbara enjoyed being a homemaker, gardening, reading, working on puzzles, playing Rummy with her son, taking Route 66 trips, the laughter of watching circus clowns, and searching for that special item at the local antique stores. She loved watching her favorite T.V. shows, Columbo and Rosanne, and classic movies.

Barbara is survived by her son, Dennis Smith and wife Lauren, sister-in-law, Michiko Foisy, brother Albert Foisy and wife Gerry, brother Jack Foisy and wife Christine.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Smith; her brother Robert Foisy and wife Dorothy and her brother Richard Foisy. She will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.
