Barbara G. Burkhardt,78, of Winfield, MO, passed away on January 10, 2022. She was born on September 14, 1943 in Winfield, MO to Eldridge and Elfrieda (Arnhold) Smith. Barbara attended the local schools, along with her twin brother, Harold. Barbara was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed caring for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to watch the birds come and go from her windows and her bench.

She is survived by her children, Gail Degrendle of O'Fallon, Debbie (Randy) Farley of Old Monroe and Hope Lee of O'Fallon, grandchildren, Billy (Heather) Dwiggins of Winfield, Brittany ( Adam) Mudd of Old Monroe, great-grandchildren, Blake Dwiggins, Case Mudd and Josie Mudd, other relatives and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband , Gene Burkhardt, brother, Harold Smith and two sons-in-law, Ron Degrendle and Mike Lee.

Private Services to be held. Mr. John Thrower to officiate.
