Barbara S
Crow
Jan 31, 1949 — Mar 27, 2025
Bowling Green
Barbara passed away peacefully on March 27th at St Joseph West Hospital in Lake St Louis surrounded by family members. Barbara is now with Jesus and other family members who passed before her and she will suffer no more. Barbara has been a resident at Country View in Bowling Green MO for the past 2 years. Barbara was born on January 31, 1949 in Louisiana MO to the parents of Willard Crow Sr and Floretta (Woods) Crow. Barbara is survived by her son, Scott Crow of Monroe City MO and three grandchildren, Scott Crow Jr of Iowa, Samantha Crow of St Charles MO, and Keaton Bergman of Quincy IL. She is also survived by one sister, Rebecca (Becky) Clifton of Mexico MO, two brothers, Willard Crow Jr of Nashville TN and Alan Crow of Bowling Green MO, along with several nieces and nephews, Shelbie Splain, Ashley Kacynski, Ryan and Derek Clifton.
Barbara lived her whole life in Louisiana MO and she was a 1967 graduate of Louisiana High School. Barbara held various positions throughout her life from secretary at LaCrosse Lumber Company to printing machine operator at Louisiana Plastics to farm manager and close friend to Ann Mallinckrodt of Florida. She eventually became an in-home care giver in the Louisiana area, one of whom was Mary Parker who she became very good friends with and who she took with her on road trips. Barbara didn't have a lot of hobbies but she did enjoy talking on the phone to family and friends (a little too much) and watching old movies and westerns. She collected antiques and enjoyed going to thrift stores and flea markets. She also worked at Kate's Attic in Louisiana in the past. Barbara devoted her entire life to the love of her son, Scott. She is also survived by two stepchildren from a previous marriage, Tina and Lisa Lafferty. Barbara will be greatly missed by family and close friends who truly knew her. She was a hard worker who always put everyone's needs first rather than her own. A graveside service will be held at a later date. The family requests no flowers be sent and memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
