Berdell M. Hoelting,94, of Foristell, MO, passed away at her home on June 1, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 4, 1929 in Portage Des Sioux , MO to Frederick And Lydia ( Purler) Roesner, one of six children. Berdell attended the local schools. Berdell and Jarold Hoelting met after he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy and were later married on October 23, 1948 at St. Peters Catholic Church. Jerry and Dell were blessed with four children: Laura, Gerald, Renee and Gary. She was an excellent cook and always loved to host big family holiday dinners. Dell took great pride in her 5.5 acre lawn that took her two days to mow. In the fall she would mulch the leaves to be ready for the coming year. Dell loved to do word searches and always had a big stack on the table, ready to work on. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Dell is survived by her four loving children, Laura Lawler of Lake St. Louis, , Gerald (Elizabeth) Hoelting of Augusta, Renee (John) Johansen of Foristell, and Gary (Terrie) Hoelting of Foristell , six grandchildren; Greg Hoelting, Ricky Hoelting, John Lawler, Christine Lawler, Danielle Baumgarten and Sabrina Hoelting,  six great-grandchildren; Daniel Lawler, McKenzie Grey, Brendan Lawler, Gabe Lawler, Mason Lawler, Miles Hoelting, and Brady and KayLee Hoelting, three great-great grandchild: Lydia Lawler , Brady and KayLee Hoelting,  nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Berdell was preceded in death by her beloved husband,  Jarold Hoelting , her parents and 5 siblings.

A Private Memorial Service to be held at a later dateMemorials- may be given to Donor's Choice in honor of Berdell Hoelting c/o funeral home.
