Bernice C. Collins,  77, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at her home.  She was born on January 9, 1946 in St. Charles, MO to Thomas and Ellen (Kramer) Dixon.  Following her formal schooling, she married her soulmate, John O'Grady.  They were blessed with seven children who were her pride and joy. She later married Kenneth Collins.  Some of Bernice's pastimes included going to yard sales, thrift stores, karaoke, fishing, and getting together with her family members.  She lived life to the fullest.

Surviving are her adoring children: Elaine (Dave) Brewer of Troy, Kenneth O'Grady of Troy, Christine (Dave) Brewer of Troy, Darlene (Robert) Clearwater of Warrenton, Randy (Jeni) O'Grady of Warrenton and John (Jenny) O'Grady of Moscow Mills; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;  her sister, Rose Marie Leonard;her brother-in-laws: Jeff Sauberlich, Charles Kraft, Rocky Collins, Patrick (Coleen) Collins, Earl (Lori) Collins, step-children; Dawn Collins of Silex, MO and Scott Collins of Troy, sister-in-laws: Roxy (Salvador) Toro, Cindy (Terry)  Finley, her companion; Vester Beckwith and many other relatives and friends.

Bernice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Collins; her daughter, Carolyn O'Grady; her siblings:   Lloyd Dixon, Laverne Stringer, brother-in-law:  Norman Collins, sister-in-law's: Carol Kraft, Debbie Sauberlich and her mother-in-law, Catherine Collins.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday,  December 22, 2023,  from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.

A funeral service to also be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home in Troy, MO. Rev. Earl Collins to officiate. Interment to follow in the Troy City Cemetery, Troy, MO.

Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral costs.
