Obituary

Betty Jean Frazier, 84, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at SSM – Lake St. Louis. She was the first born child to Charles and Isabelle (Shramek) Myers. Betty was raised on the Shramek farm until the family moved to Troy on their own farm. She helped her mom and dad with the chores. Betty met her sweetheart, Boyce "Punkin" Frazier while he was working at the I.G.A. Store in Troy. They were joined in holy matrimony on Sept. 20, 1958.  They were blessed with their son, Jeffrey, who was their pride and joy.

For a short time, Betty worked at the Gossard Garment Factory while Jeffrey was in school. She loved to help her husband with the mowing and enjoyed cooking.  Her specialty was roast beef and mashed potatoes. Her No. 1 priority were her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  One of her greatest joys was caring for the children, while their parents were working. Betty was a devoted member for many years at Zion United Church of Christ in Troy.

Surviving are her loving family members: her son, Jeffrey and wife Christine Frazier of Troy; her two grandchildren: Curtis and wife Lauren Frazier of Wentzville, Jessica Frazier and fiancé Brennan Necker of Wright City and her adoring six great-grandchildren: Kaylee, Jada, Donald, Boyce, Weston and Everett. She is further survived by her siblings: Gary and wife Donna Myers, Ricky and wife Laurie Myers and Debbie Mulherin and special friend Frank; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Isabelle (Shramek) Myers, and her beloved husband Punkin Frazier.
