Brett D. Adkins, 54, of Troy, MO, passed away on October 17, 2021. He was born on September 29, 1967 in Festus, MO to Thomas and Betty (Coleman) Adkins. Brett attended the local schools with his siblings and graduated from Buchanan High School. He was employed as a truck driver for several years, with an excellent company, JBC Transport and was a very hard worker, who took pride in everything that he did. Brett and Tabatha (Campbell) were united in marriage on December 2, 2008 in St. Lucia. Brett enjoyed being in the swimming pool, drinking a beer, hanging out with family. He also liked to go on float trips, camping and boating. Brett took pride in his lawn and was particular about how it looked. Fall nights sitting around a bonfire, with family and friends were some of his best times. Brett loved his dogs, Bocephus, Maliki and Beemer, they were his constant companions, when he was home. Brett was loving husband, father, son, uncle and friend to all, he will be sadly missed and long remembered.

Brett is survived by his beautiful wife, Tabatha Adkins of Troy, children; Bradlee Campbell of Whidbey Island, WA, Dillon Campbell of Troy, Camden Campbell of Troy, 1 grandchild on-the-way, siblings, Brian Adkins, Michael Adkins, Debbie (Colin) Ward of Troy, mother -in-law, Beverly Herman of Troy, father-in-law, Dean Campbell of Troy, brother-in-law, Jason Campbell of Troy, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Oct 22, 2021 from 3 p.m.-7 p.m.at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone St. Troy, MO 63379, 636-528-8244.

Memorial Service will also be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy, MO. Rev. Richie Rhea to officiate.
