Carol Jean Eads,64, of Bowling Green, MO, passed away on October 3, 2022 at Hannibal Regional Hospital. She was born on March 28, 1958 in Linn, MO to Eugene and Naomi (Duckworth) Eads. She attended the local schools with her three siblings. Carol enjoyed crocheting, reading and going to thrift stores. She also faithfully watched The Young and the Restless and adored animals. She was loving, caring and had a good sense of humor. Carol's favorite drink was Pepsi.

She is survived by her biological children, Shelly Sims, Michael Smith and Krista Smith, several grandchildren, her siblings, Joseph Eads and Robert Eads, both of Fulton, MO, niece, Heather Eads, nephew, Joseph Allen Eads Jr. , friends who became like family, Penny Mantle (fiance Travis Bailey) and Dena (Charles) Fisher, many other relatives and friends.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Jason Smith, sister, Shirley Ford and her nephew, Joseph Randall Eads.

She will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Mint Hill Cemetery in Linn, MO.   The family will be handling the services at  graveside.
