Mrs. Carol A. Fague, 80, of Winfield, MO, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at her residence. She was born on Sept. 12, 1941 in St. Louis to Emerson and Helen (Nolan) Woodford. Carol attended grade school at Nativity School in St. Louis and high school at Laboure High School in Walnut Park, St. Louis. This is where she met her sweetheart, Larry Fague. They were married on Sept. 2, 1961 in St. Louis. The couple first lived in Walnut Park and for the next 22 years lived in Florissant and Dellwood. Then for 17 years the couple moved to the Lake of the Ozarks where they enjoyed sailing and fishing with their children and grandchildren. In 2001 they moved to Winfield in Lincoln County. To this union were born five children. At first Carol was a stay-at-home Mom taking loving care of her children and husband. After the children were all in school, she began working in various medical fields. Carol was an avid quilter, and enjoyed gardening, painting and sailing. Her hobbies kept her very busy but her highest priorities were her family and her love of her role model, the Blessed Mother Mary. Carol attended Mass at Sacred Heart Parish in Troy and was a member of the St Ann Ladies Sodality and Quilters and the Sacred Heart Stitchers.

Surviving are her devoted husband, Larry Fague, her children: Lori (Joe) Prouhet of Josephville, Tricia (Steve) Frazier of Webster Groves, Jacquie (Scott) Gilmor of Washington, MO, Lawrence J. (Joe) and wife Rita Fague of Fulton; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her two sisters: Mary Kay (Glenn) Hohe, Barb (Fran) Frankowski, Bob Woodford, Rich (Sue) Woodford; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Joseph L. Fague.

A Funeral Mass scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Sacred Heart Church, Troy. Fr. Mike Lydon and Fr. Tom Wissler to officiate.

Private interment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Troy at a later date.
