Carol Sue Gerdiman , 75, of Troy, MO, passed away on April 2, 2023 at Garden View Care Center in O'Fallon, MO. She was born on December 22, 1947 in Elsberry, MO to Victor Lamont and Laura Frances (Maupin) Irvin Sr. , one of 9 children. Carol attended the local schools, along with her siblings. She and Stan Gerdiman met and were later married at Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills, Mo on August 19, 1967. To this union were born three children; Chris, Angela and Melissa. Carol always had a smile on her face, she loved to volunteer at the polls, so she could catch up with everyone.  She enjoyed working in food service and had worked at Stefanina's in Troy for over 9 years and also Culver's in Wentzille . Carol was very talkative and outgoing, she never met a stranger. She deeply loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Carol is survived by her devoted husband of  55 years, Stanley "Stan" Gerdiman of Troy, MO, children; Chris Gerdiman of Troy, MO, Angela (Michael) Bobeen of Troy, MO and Melissa (Brian) Harmon of Troy, MO,  grandchildren; Amanda (Jason) Pax and their children; Emery and Hudson Pax, Alexis Bobeen , Tanner Bobeen , Logan Bobeen and Gage Harmon, siblings; Orval (Carol) Irvin , Thelma Dickinson of Troy, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandchild; Drew Alexandria Harmon and her siblings; Mary Wilhoit , Shirley Brown, Vicki Robbins, Anna Mae Danskin , Gary Irvin and Victor Irvin Jr.

Visitation will be held on  Monday, April 10, 2023 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO, 63379, 528-8244.

Memorial Service- will be held also on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy, MO. Rev. Eugene Rahmier to officiate.

Memorials- In lieu of flowers to St. Jude's Children's Hospital c/o funeral home

A Celebration of Life will also  be held on July 8, 2023 from 12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. at Lakeside Shelter at Cuivre River State Park Troy, MO
