Carol Lynn  (Deane) Hernandez, 65, of Moscow Mills, MO, passed away at Barnes Hospital- St. Louis, MO on May 3, 2024. She was born on January 21, 1959 in Evansville, Indiana to Paul V. and Shirley ( Joines) Deane. Carol moved to Missouri in 1965, and  she attended the local schools. Later graduating from Buchanan High School, in 1977. She was blessed with one beautiful daughter, Sara Lynn. Carol was an excellent homemaker and would often care for the neighborhood children. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Carol was a great conversationalist and enjoyed conversing in person or on the telephone. Summertime was her absolute favorite time of the year and she loved soaking up the sun, sitting poolside. She was an avid watcher of her favorite baseball team, the St. Louis Cardinal's.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Sara (Bob) Mikel of Moscow Mills, MO, grandchildren; Nickolas, Thomas, Alexander and Jayden Mikel, sister, Lisa Colbert of Winfield, MO, and last but definitely  not least her "adopted" family members, as well as her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Vince Deane.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. -  7:00 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO 63379, 636-528-8244 .

Memorial Service- also held Friday, May 31, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. , at the funeral home in Troy.
