Chris Dorsen,70, of Troy, MO, passed away on February 5, 2026 at SSM- Lake St. Louis Hospital. She was born on November 30, 1955 to Fred and Alice ( Grimes) Rumpf. She attended the local schools with her siblings. Chris was united in marriage with Rob Dorsen on May 8, 1982 in Illinois. To this union was born a beautiful daughter, Heather. Chris had worked at General Motors for over 11 years as a forklift operator. She was a hard worker and never missed a day of work.  Chris and Rob met when he asked her to swing dance. They loved to dance and always put on a beautiful show, for anyone who was watching. Some of her other hobbies ; fishing, snow globe collector and decorating for holidays. Chris loved to have the house full of people she could cook for and enjoy their company. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend.

Chris is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Rob Dorsen of Troy, MO, one daughter, Heather Dorsen of Troy, MO, nephew and niece, Justin Love and Makayla Love, sister-in-law, Patricia Love and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Terry Rumpf.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 3 p.m.- 7 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO 63379, 636-528-8244.

Funeral will also be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the funeral home in Troy. Rev. Dr. Jeff Moore to officiate. Interment- Sunset Hills Memorial Garden . Memorials- to the family c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory
