DaMarco "Marc" E. Payne, 23 of Troy, MO, passed away on August 21, 2023. He was born the son of Cephus and Pamela (Tucker) Payne on January 30, 2000. Marc was a kind and loving child, who always wore a smile. He grew up with his many siblings and they all were very close. Marc was a jokester and loved making people laugh. Marc attended the local schools and later attended Job Core. He worked various occupations as a laborer and always enjoyed his work. Due to his infectious personality, Marc had many, many friends, and he was always the life of the party. He always wanted to help people anyway he could, and was a loyal friend. His family meant everything to him, and he loved them all dearly. He visited his baby nephew, Jimmy, as often as he could. Marc would hold him the whole time, and Jimmy loved him right back. He was super polite and had excellent manners. Dressing well was always a priority to Marc, and he always looked immaculate. Though his best asset was his million dollar smile. Marc will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his father and step-mother, Cephus Payne and Lisa Blossom Payne, his siblings: Latocha Todd, Jeffrey  Clark, Termelle Clark, Corey, Green, Brandy Mefford,  Alex Payne, Nana Schweich, Dom Payne, Jodie Bray, Ryan Payne, Katie Payne, Chris Payne, Michael Sanders, Jaxson Payne, Jami Payne, Riah Payne, Danielle Payne,   Nikolas Clark, Marissa Clark, Christopher King, and Terron Clark, his step-brother, Shay Conrad,  his grandparents, Ron and Sharon Cooper,  Pat Tucker,  and his step-grandparents, Jim and Mari Blossom.  He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.

Marc was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Pamela Payne, his paternal grandparents; Dan and Julie Payne, his brothers; Derek Payne, Cory Payne, Chad Payne, and his step-sister, MariLee Becker.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., at the Christ Centered Church in Troy.  A Celebration of Life service to also be held on Saturday, September 9, 12:00 p.m., at the church.
