David "Dave" P. Ambro, 70, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at Aspire Senior Living in Jonesburg. He was born on November 25, 1952 to Paul and Dorothy (Chabarek) Ambro. Dave grew up with his brother, Darrell and they attended the local schools in St.Charles.
Dave was a mechanic for over 40 years! He was also a "car" guy! He loved race cars and worked at Mid-America Raceway in "Wentzville. He loved keeping busy, always working on cars, mowing the yard and being with family. Dave and Kathy just celebrated 26 years of marriage and were married on November 23, 1996. They didn't have children together but blended their families. He was so proud of his son Darren and was so happy to see Darren and Heather get married. He loved his granddaughters, Renee and Maisie. Dave loved his two bonus daughters, Lacey and her husband, Darrin. He also loved their kids as his own grandkids, Angela, Mason, Rylee Jo and Cade. Tiffanie Hickman and her husband Doug and their son, Noah were also very special to him. Dave loved Jesus and was a member of Troy First Baptist Church. After his retirement, he worked at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory in Troy. Greeting people and making them feel comfortable was easy for him. He will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.
