David L. Stonebarger, 75, of Troy, MO, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO. He was born on June 7, 1950 to Leslie and Mildred (Meyer) Stonebarger, Sr., David grew up with his two brothers, Wayne and Leslie in St.Charles and attended St. Charles High School.  He was a collector of lawnmowers and enjoyed repairing them.  David was a hard worker and always busy with chores as a farm hand.  He later began working for Orschelins and then Cuivre River State Park.  Some of his pastimes included fishing, and antiquing.  David was a loving son and brother who will be greatly missed and long remembered.

Surviving are his brother, Leslie Stonebarger, Jr.; his cousin, Kristina Murray; his many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Mildred Stonebarger, Sr. and his brother, Wayne Stonebarger.

Visitation to be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, from 12:30 pm. until 2:00 p.m., at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone Street, Troy, MO, 63379, 636-528-8244.

A funeral service is also scheduled for Monday, January 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m., at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory in Troy. Interment to follow in the Troy City Cemetery.  Pastor David Klee to officiate.  Serving as pallbearers: Rob Resto, Kristina Murray, Dakota Jordan, Nathan King, Christopher Null and Marlowe Wing.  Interment in Troy City Cemetery.
