Diane Goins, 82, of Troy, MO and formerly of Thayer, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. She  was born on January 9, 1942  in  Cordell, OK to Andrew Leo and Maude  Ellie (Murphy) Beck. Diane grew up with two siblings, James and Don. At the age of 19, she married her sweetheart, Elbert Goins. They were blessed with two children:  Diane, worked right along side of Elbert on the farm, making their work more enjoyable. For 38 years, Diane and Elbert drove school buses for Thayer Public Schools. Diane was an excellent cook and homemaker. Her home was always spotless and her fried chicken, could not be beat. Her family describes her as, "Reserved, kind and meticulous." Diane was always beautifully dressed with her hair and makeup done. A beautiful lady, inside and out. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many.

Surviving are her son, Donald and wife Rhonda Goins of Meridian, Idaho; her  daughter, Darla and husband Chris Mennemeyer of Troy; her brothers, James (Sue) Beck of Troy, MO and Don and (Susie) Beck of Winfield, MO. She is further survived by her adoring grandchildren; Megan Goins, Sara Goins, Tim and wife Amy Lavy, Josh and wife Chrissie Lavy, Marla and husband Caleb Jones. Six great grandchildren: Cayden, Mason, Samantha, Marissa, Sadie, Eli and one-on-the-way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Leo and Maude Ellie Beck and her beloved husband, Elbert Goins.
