Diane M. Ward, 72, of Bowling Green, MO, formerly of Quincy, IL, and Sullivan,MO, passed away on October 10, 2024. She was born on July 22, 1952 in Quincy, IL to Donald and Freda Sibert. She attended the local schools and went on to obtain her Master's Degree in Science. Diane worked as a teacher in Wright City, Elsberry and currently was in charge of Twin Pikes YMCA  After School Program and BONCL teaching Art. She enjoyed reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren, helping others and any kind of science activity. Her family describes her as " Outgoing, had a servant's heart and  was making the world a better place. Diane will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Lynsie and Scott Hunt of Bowling Green, MO, Brett and Kelsey Ward of Clarksville, MO and Kylie (Jesse) Ward of St. Charles, MO, her mother , Freda Sibert of Sun City, Arizona, grandchildren, Camdyn, Kaden, Keaston, Mara, Maclaine, Harrison, Anderson, Kalen, Kynlee, Karter, Kasynn, Jackson, Ava, Bentley and Payton, other relatives and friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her sister, Cindy Sibert and her  father, Donald Sibert.

A Celebration of LIfe will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at  The Keely Center 3523 Georgia St. Louisiana, MO 63353 from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m.
