"Don" Lee Mitchell, 71, of Old Monroe, MO, formerly of Long Beach, California, passed away on November 6, 2025, He was born November 22, 1953 in Long Beach, California the son of Ralph and Claudia Mitchell. Don had worked as a self-employed truck driver , with his wife, Linda driving with him for over 17 years. They were married on December 1, 1996 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple enjoyed many hours spent traveling throughout the entire United States. Don enjoyed watching sports on TV and cheering for his favorite team. He loved camping with his wife and RC cars. Some of his favorite past times were sitting in the jacuzzi on the back porch and watching the creek that went through his back yard. What he really loved was receiving his Amazon packages daily. He was known as "Poppi Don" by his first two grandkids, Jessi and Wesley who still call him that! His many other grandkids, know him as "Papa" or "Grandpa". Don will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Mae Mitchell of Old Monroe, MO, children, Jeff and wife Lisa Mitchell, Briana Taylor, Paula and husband Wayne Bennett, Julie Hare and husband, Jeff, grandchildren, Jayden, Blaine, Cameron, Elissa, Jessi, Wesley and wife Shaely, Hunter, Cole, Andre and Isaiah; great-grandchildren: Jackie, Rey, Crew, Parker and Sawyer; siblings, Bob Lambert, Carol Selander, Steve Mitchell, Toni Draeger and Scott Mitchel, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Don was preceded in death by his parents.
