Donald (Donnie) Lorenson Sr.,65, of Bowling Green, MO, passed away on September 11, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 5, 1957 in Moberly, MO to Harry and Johanna (Power) Lorenson . He was married on August 11, 2000 in Monroe City, MO to Jackie (Powell). Donnie was employed as a truck driver for the Farmer's Elevator in Monroe City for over 7 years, he also worked at Kuhlman & Pace Die Casting for 23 years. His last job was working as a truck driver for Monty Burch for four years .  Some of his hobbies were hunting, fishing, golfing and bowling (over 200 average). Donnie was a champion Morel mushroom hunter and went out every year. Donnie enjoyed spending time with his large family and friends as much as he could.He will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jackie Lorenson of Bowling Green, children, Amanda Willard of Bowling Green, Kim (Billy) Orf of Bowling Green, Donnie ( Rebecca) Lorenson Jr. of Bowling Green, Billy (Jodie) Powell of Monroe City, Elizabeth (Rodney) Crandall of Paris, Sarah (Howard) Lake of Center, Josh Davis of Hannibal, Bobby (Erica) Davis of Hannibal, 22 grandchildren, siblings; Ronald (Kathy) Lorenson of Quincy, IL, Deborah Dittmer of Quincy, IL, sisters-in-law, Pam Maziarka of Palmyra and Mary (Mike) McNeal of Monroe City, Ninette ( Robbie) Watson of Monroe City, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughters; Evelyn Grace Powell and Samantha Crandall Davis and step-daughter, Heather Lorraine.

Since Donald never really followed the normal path in life, he requested that the family only celebrate his life with all family and friends that wanted to come.
