Donald Francis Olson, 77, of Troy, MO, passed away on January 4, 2022, in Troy, MO. He was born on September 15, 1944, in San Francisco, California, the child of Francis and Lena (Floyd) Olson. After attending the local schools and graduating high school, Donald enlisted in the United States Navy. He proudly served his country for many years, and was always a very patriotic man. He met the love of his life, Penny Burke at this time. Donald reached the rank of Chief Petty Officer of the Navy during his military service.  He then a bought a big rig.  He and Penny both drove their own semi's and loved seeing the country together. Donald was a very kind and loving man. He was very intelligent, and a hard worker. Donald will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved significant other, Penny Olson of Troy, MO, his children: Paul, Edward, Shawn, Darren, Chris, Melanie, Christopher, grandchildren: Adam, Brandon, Amber, Rosie, Heather, Shawn Jr., Marcus, Ryan Jr, Laythen, Keirra, Nicholas, Elin, Weston, and Sam, great-grandchildren: Klenliegh, Nova, William, Rory, Luna, as well as many other relatives and friends.
