Obituary

Donna Marie Fruhwirth Kean, 58 , of Troy, MO passed away Monday September 18, 2023 at her home. She was born May 30, 1965 in St. Louis to Eleanore (Swillum) and William Fruhwirth. As a child, she liked animals, always playing with the family dogs and enjoying rides on the family's ponies. Donna lived in St. Louis until 1987 when she and her family moved to Troy. She was known for her love of dressing up – fancy hats, dresses and wearing lots of jewelry. Donna loved to shop, attend any kind of party or gathering and one of her favorite holidays was Halloween as she always looked forward to planning her costume. She liked concerts, enjoyed a good meal out and attending St. Louis Cardinal ball games. Donna was currently a member of Troy Wesleyan Church and enjoyed meeting her sister there for Sunday service. Having a cat was always very important to Donna. She referred to them as her babies. Her baby, Bella, was right beside her through her illness and it brought comfort to her knowing someone was going to take care of Bella when she was not here. Donna retired from Earth Wise Industries several years ago. During her retirement, she continued many of her preferred activities such as playing Wii or hand held games and keeping up with her favorite day-time soaps.

Donna is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and John Kleine and her nephew and his wife, John and Camryn Kleine, as well as many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Blaine and Wayne Fruhwirth.
