Doris Wallace, 92, of Troy, MO, passed away peacefully on Sunday,November 20, 2022 at the home of her daughter. She was born February 10, 1930 in Evansville, Indiana to Roy and Valada (Bensmeier) Shutts. On January 28, 1951, Doris was united in holy matrimony to her soul mate, Peter "Pete" Wallace in Evansville, IN. Her husband was a good provider for their family and Doris was able to stay home with her three children. The couple was very active in the First Baptist Church of Troy and were mentors to most everyone that came in contact with them. Doris was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,  great grandmother, sister and aunt.   In 2013, Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Pete Wallace.

A Funeral service is scheduled at 10:00 am on Friday, December 2, 2022, at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location. Officiating: Rev. Mike Larson. Interment to follow in the National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks.
