Dorothy Lee Glaus,79, of Troy, MO, passed away on August 6, 2021 at Select Specialty Hospital- St. Charles, MO. She was born on November 14, 1941 to Gordon and Mary Louise (Knowles) Cade. Dorothy and Gerald L. Glaus Sr. were united in marriage.
To this union were born: Gerald, Anita and Donna Lynn. The family lived in Florissant, MO while the children were growing up. Dorothy was a talented upholsterer and had her own business for many years, "Dot's Upholstery" in Florissant, MO. Some of her hobbies were quilting, crocheting and sewing. Dorothy made many baby quilts for family and friends over the years. She was a generous and kind lady with a big heart. Dorothy was a loving fiancée, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great grandmother who will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her fiancée, Alan "Sonny" Thompson of Troy; children:  Gerald L. Glaus Jr. of Troy, Anita Dawn (Don) Suermann of Potosi and Donna Lynn (Reese) Holtz of Florissant; her ex-husband, Gerald L. Glaus Sr. of Jackson, IL; nine grandchildren,;29 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.  She is further survived by her siblings, Charlie, Carl and Harry Cade, Barbara Ann Grainger and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gordon Cade and grandchildren, Tonya Reese and Daniel Reese.
