Douglas "Doug" H. Linde, 79, of Foley, MO, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at his residence. He was born on April 11, 1942 in Blue Island, Illinois, the beloved child of Everett and Gertrude (Harder) Linde. Doug grew up with his sister, Pamela, and attended the local schools. He later graduated from Blue Island High School, he began working for the Rock Island Railroad in IL, later retiring from Metra Police Department in 2002, as a police officer.  On September 11, 1993, he married the love of his life, Kim M. Zazzara. The couple continued to live in IL. before moving to MO, after his retirement. Doug always enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and just kicking back. His favorite saying was "it's 5:00 somewhere!" Doug always took excellent care of his vehicles and he would spend hours detailing them. He will be remembered lovingly by all of those that knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kim M. Linde of Foley, his children: David A. Linde, Tina M. Pyznarski, step-son, Timothy J. Crosson; his adoring grandchildren: Andrew Linde, Kara Linde, Eric Heinstra, Sara Pyznarski, Nicholas Pyznarski and his sister, Pamela and her husband Joseph Wisor. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews: Lisa, Jennifer, Jeremy, Caroline. Also great nieces and nephews, and last but not least, his Martini Buddy, Carl "Petey" Peterson, as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Everett and Gertrude Linde; grandparents; Henry and Ida Harder, and Charles G. and Jenny E. Linde.

Cremation rites have been accorded per his wishes.
