Edna Tucker, 91, of St.Charles, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023  at Windsor Estates in St. Charles.  She was born on August 25,  1931 in Troy to Millard and Alice Mae (Pine) Colbert.  Edna was raised in Olney along with her brother, Joe.  She graduated from Bowling Green High School.

She met her soulmate, Jim Tucker at a dance and they were joined in holy matrimony on June 28, 1952 in Troy at St. Stephen United Methodist Church.  The couple relocated to St.Charles and they were blessed with two children: Darrell and Doris.  Edna was a nurturing mother and took excellent of her family.  She loved to cook, clean and was super organized.  In 1962, the family traveled to Bagnall Dam and in 1969, they began their yearly trip to Branson.    Edna and Jim enjoyed Blue Grass music and traveled to their many festivals.  She will be greatly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

Surviving are her two children: Darrell Tucker of St.Charles and Doris Rogers of St.Charles; two grandchildren: Casey Rogers and Caryn and husband Dan Porter.

She was preceded in death by her parents;  her beloved husband, Jim Tucker; her brother, Joe Colbert;  and her son-in-law, Dennis Rogers.

Visitation scheduled from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 26 2023 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379  (636) 528-8244. A Funeral service scheduled at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, Troy location.  Officiating:  Pastor Matthew David Ediger.  Interment to follow in Olney Cemetery, Olney, Missouri.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o the funeral home.
