Edward C. Hermsmeyer, 94, of Foley, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO. He was born on Dec. 19,1929 in St. Louis to Edward and Ethel (Cahill) Hermsmeyer.  At the age of 25, he served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1954 until 1956.  He married his soulmate, Doris Ziemann, and they were blessed with their son, Ed who was their pride and joy.  Edward was a carpenter/millwright by trade, retiring after many years of dedicated work.
