Evelyn F.  (Moran) Basinger, 91, of Moscow Mills, MO passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Hampton Manor in Wentzville.  She was born October 27, 1934 in St. Louis to Travis and Ginny (Green) Couch.  Evelyn was raised in North St. Louis along with her three siblings:  Ernie, Vernon Couch and Dorothy Schramm. Evelyn was  preceded in death by her first husband Harold "Bob" Moran who passed away in August 1993.  Harold and Evelyn were blessed with three sons:  Edward, Michael, and Joseph.  Evelyn was a nurturing mother to her sons and took excellent care of them.  When the boys were in school, Evelyn worked as a teamster for a vending company.  Harold and Evelyn lived at the Lake of the Ozarks for many years and enjoyed boating, swimming, and barbecues with family.   Evelyn married Arlin Basinger in April, 2002.  Arlin passed away in October, 2006.  They spent time together with family and friends at the Lake of the Ozarks. Evelyn moved to Troy, MO and was a devoted and faithful member of Sacred Heart Church.  She volunteered at church and at her local community center.  Evelyn previously enjoyed working with ceramics.  She was an amazing cook and always made enough food to feed an army.  Evelyn loved playing cards and going to the casino.

Evelyn is survived by her sons: Edward (Kathy) Moran of Imperial, MO, Michael Moran of Moscow Mills, MO, Joseph (Donna) Moran of O'Fallon, MO; five grandchildren: Chrissy Moran, Corey Moran, Shari (Anthony) Coxen, Jamie Moran, Mick Moran; two great-grandchildren:  Cole Moran and Juniper Coxen.

Funeral service:  11:00am on Friday, June 5, 2026 at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379 (636) 528-8244.  Officiating:  Deacon Jim Davies.
