Our loving mother, Frances Edna Frost Colbert went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2022 at the age of 96 in Steelville, Missouri.  She was born in Lynwood, California on September 24, 1925 to Robert and Marguerite  Mathews Frost.

She was mother to Keith (deceased), Doretta, Kenneth, Philip (deceased), and Kathleen.  She raised her children with love and devotion in Hawk Point, Missouri, with her husband George (deceased).

As a school teacher and piano teacher, she delighted in the learning of others.  She loved her farm and her garden and always put her family first.  She enjoyed gardening, quilting, but music most of all.

She actively supported her church, Hawk Point Baptist, by serving as pianist, choir director, Sunday School teacher, Girls' in Action leader, and Women's Missionary Union.  She also enjoyed organizing  fun activities with the youth of Hawk Point.

She is survived by her son Kenneth (Michelle), and daughters Doretta (David), Kathleen (Mark) and daughter in law Dawn (Philip).  In addition, grandchildren Philip (Lacey), Doreen (Jason), Sarah (Mitchell), Maggie, Daniel (Laura), Megan (Michael), Nathan (Cindy), Christopher (Mercede), Manda (Derek), Abigail (Stephen), Harrison, special nephew Danny Walters, their children and countless family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 from 11 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379, Tel. (636) 528-8244.

Funeral will also be held on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. at McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory 1304 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379.  Rev. David Thompson to officiate.
