Gary S. Bartley, 58, of Silex, MO, and formerly of Florida, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton.  He was born on July 7, 1963 in St. Louis to Cyrus and Carol Ann (OBrien) Bartley, Sr.  Scott grew up with his four older siblings: Kenneth, Gerald, Cyrus Jr. and Constance.  After his formal schooling, he began driving a truck over-the-road and did this for many years while living in both Missouri and Florida.  During his earlier years, he had been a member of the Army National Guard and served in Stillwell, OK.  Scott moved back to Missouri several months ago to be closer to his family and friends.

Surviving are his father, Cyrus Bartley, Sr.; his two brothers: Gerald Bartley, Sr., Cyrus Bartley, Jr. and sister, Constance Ann Woodward; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Ann Bartley and his brother, Kenneth Bartley and his great-great-nephew, William Burton.
