George Wayne Giles was born December 28, 1938 in Warrenton, MO to B.T. 'Red' Giles and Dorothy Wright Giles. He died at his home in Troy Friday, October 10, 2025. He attended grade schools in Montgomery and Lincoln Counties and was a 1956 graduate of Buchanan High School in Troy, MO. He spent years on genealogy research for his own family and was actively involved with genealogy research until his death. He served on numerous committees and Boards.
