George R. Miller, 87, of Creve Coeur, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026.  He was born on Dec. 16, 1938 in University, City, MO to Mr. & Mrs. Miller and grew up with his three siblings.  After graduating from high school, he attended and received a degree from Florissant Community College.  At the age of 39, he was joined in holy matrimony to his soulmate, Terry L. Clarkson.

George had worked for TWA and Ozark Airlines, repairing airplanes and when he retired, he started his own electric company. Some of his pastimes included fishing, collecting stamps and spending time with his family.  He loved all animals and liked to feed the deer, skunks and racoons that visited his yard. George and his wife, Terry, liked to travel to Acapulco, Mexico for the winter months, year after year. Meeting up for breakfast with his friends was also what he enjoyed.

Surviving are his two loving granddaughters: Delanie Hemmer and Samantha Hemmer both of Kirkwood; other relatives and friends.

George was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife of 47 years, and his three siblings: Loretta, John and Barbara.
