Gerald Wayne Sewell, 82, of Troy, MO, passed away on May 5, 2024 at Barnes Jewish  St. Peter's Hospital.   He was born on January 29, 1942 in Winchester, KY.   Gerald and Florence (Rolf) were united in marriage on December 21,1994 in O'Fallon, MO. He was a hard working warehouse worker at Schnucks for over 30 years. Gerald never missed a day of work and always stayed until the job was done. He enjoyed mowing his lawn, gardening and fishing. Gerald was a sports enthusiast, especially Kentucky University Basketball and the St. Louis Cardinals. He loved to relax while watching Westerns. Gerald will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Florence Sewell of Troy, MO;  children:  Roberta (John) Heuermann of Troy, MO, Gerald Wayne ( Diana) Sewell of O'Fallon, MO, Deborah (Scott) Penrod of O'Fallon, MO and Dawn Hahn of Troy, MO;  grandchildren:  Jeremy (Ashley) Heuermann. Nicholle  (Joe) Hong, Kyle (Danielle) Heuermann, Heather Penrod, Kayla Penrod, Rachael Penrod, Danielle (Donnie) Vierling, Nicholas Dorman, Lisa Dorman, Cody( Ashley) Dorman, Gage Dorman, Amy Young,  Becky Welch, Heather Welch  and  16 great-grandchildren;  three siblings; Dick, Ronald and Pat,  many nieces , nephews,  other relatives and friends .

Gerald was preceded in  death by his parents, grandson, Michael Sewell and his brother, Bobby.
