Glen A
Reece Jr
Jun 25, 1971 — Mar 28, 2026
Troy
Glen A. Reece, Jr., 54, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis after a long battle with kidney disease. Glen was born on June 25, 1971 in Detroit, Michigan and raised by his parents, Allen and Debbie Reece, in Virginia. He graduated from Coeburn High School in Coeburn, Virginia where he was involved in FFA and enjoyed photography. Following high school, he moved with his family to Missouri.
Glen was the loving father of three sons: Tyler and twins, Jaidyn and Jordan. They were his pride and joy. The four of them shared memorable times camping and fishing at rivers, lakes, and parks across Missouri; and Glen loved frying the fish they caught. He hunted deer in Virginia with his father, grandfather, and uncles, prior to their move to Missouri. Glen delighted his mother by being the go-to chef for family events and holidays where he made sure everything always tasted great. Glen's most recent treasured time was spent with his adorable granddaughters attending soccer games while wearing his custom "Everleigh's PaPa" shirt.
Glen is survived by his three sons; Tyler Reece of Troy, Jaidyn (Emily) Reece of Old Monroe, Jordan (Shelbie) Reece of Old Monroe; his grandmother, Phyllis Rose, of Moscow Mills; his parents, Allen and Debbie Reece of Moscow Mills; his sweet grandchildren; Everleigh, Ella, and a soon-to-be grandson. He is further survived by his siblings; Glenda (Armando) Molina, Kristen Horst, Ashley Maichin, and Joey (Dee) Rice; and nieces and nephews; TJ, Chris, Matt, Bryce, Logen, Abriel, Kendall, Cannon, and Case and their spouses and children.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents; Otis and Margaret Reece, and Ed Hammel; his mother, Karen Rice; his brother-in-law, Jeff Maichin; and great- nephew, Braidyn Williams.
Glen passed away before he could make an anticipated family trip to Virginia in May. His family will travel there and lovingly spread his ashes at a deer hunting location where he spent treasured time making memories with his father, grandfather, and uncles.
There is not a scheduled public memorial at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reece family, c/o McCoy- Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1304 Boone St., Troy, MO 63379
