Glenda Pryor, 75, of Troy, MO, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023. She was born on April 9, 1948 in Mexico MO, the child of Arthur D. and Billie (Sherrow) Pitts. After attending the local schools, she graduated from St. Charles High School. On August 18, 1985, in Las Vegas, she married the love of her life, Robert E. Pryor. Glenda was a doting wife and mother, and her family always came first. She attended the Fairgrounds Road Church of Christ in Troy, and enjoyed her fellowship and service there. Glenda liked to travel and taking family trips to Silver Dollar City and Disney World. In her spare time, she liked to read and hosting events. She was kind, compassionate and could talk to anyone. Due to her loving nature, she was like a "second mom" to her children's friends. Glenda was also a "Show Choir Mom" and enjoyed all that came with that. Glenda was an amazing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She will be remembered lovingly by all those who knew her.

Glenda is survived by her father, James Peth; husband, Robert E. Pryor; and their children: Katie Troutman, Laura Pryor (Braden Burch), Steven Pryor, Scott Pryor (Heidi), Cindy Schlender (Ryan), Brian Mittelbuscher, Mark Pryor (Pam), Doug Mittelbuscher, Lisa Verdigets (Brad), and Kay Timmerman (Craig); 17 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; her sisters; Diane Hunsel, Theresa Blankenship, Shawna Peth, many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Arthur Pitts.
