James "Burly"  Burlingame,69, of Troy, MO, passed away at Troy Manor on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. He was born on July 16, 1952 in Delavan, Il to Ubert and Mary (Darling) Burlingame. Jim  graduated from the local schools in IL. He later met and married Betsy Tarvin on Nov. 29, 1969 in Delavan, IL. To this union were born three children; Jeri , Nicci and James. Jim   was a hard worker and had been employed  for the Rock Island Railroad and P & PU Railroad for many years. In later years, he was a millwright at General Motors in Wentzville , until his retirement. Jim enjoyed arrowhead hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his three children, Jeri and husband Greg Krankel of Troy, Nicci and husband Roscoe Brown of Douds, Iowa and James Burlingame of Troy, grandchildren, Dustin and wife Crystal Krankel of Moscow Mills and baby boy-on-the-way, Dane (Jenny Gray) Krankel of  Troy, Halie Lenk (Lance Uthe) of Old Monroe, Daman Morton of  Troy, James Michael Burlingame of Troy, great-grandchild, Nolan Uthe, siblings, Ron and wife Carol Burlingame , Mark Burlingame and Sharon Becker all of Pekin, IL, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Betsy.
