James Lyle Holloway,78, of Santa Fe, MO, passed away on April 18, 2022 at Heritage Hall in Centralia, MO. He was born on October 16, 1943 in Lincoln, Nebraska to James Oscar and Vivian (Eggleston) Holloway. James attended the local schools, along with his three siblings. In June of 1965, James and Carol Jean (Kerwin) were united in marriage. To this union were born two children; Jim and Michelle. After Carol Jean passed away , Jim was united in marriage to Joann. He was an auto body technician, who was self-employed and also worked at different dealerships in the Lincoln County, MO area. Some of his hobbies were fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Joann Holloway of Santa Fe, MO, children; Jim and wife Cheryl Holloway of Troy, MO, Michelle and husband Jeff Allwin of O'Fallon, MO, grandchildren; Ryan Kumbera, Jimmy Kumbera, Chad Holloway, Jennifer Holloway, sister, Sally Bacon of Robertsville, MO, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

James was preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Jean Holloway, his grandson, J.D. Holloway, sisters, Vivian Jean Leslie and Suzie Light.
