Obituary

James "Jimmy" Stone Jr, 47, of Louisiana, MO, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. He was born on March 13, 1975, in Louisiana, MO, the child of Jim Stone Sr, and Lila (Niffen) Stone. Jimmy was a fun loving country boy and he grew up on  poppy's farm. He loved his family and friends and cherished them all. He attended the local schools and met Kim Gibbs and found the love of his life. She unfortunately passed away from cancer. Jimmy continued on and found Stephenie Hamiliton , the happy couple were married October 2, 2021, in Louisiana. The love they had for each other was irreplaceable. A favorite time for him was slow dancing in the kitchen and singing Conway Twitty with his wife. Jimmy never had any children of his own, but his step-daughter Natalee held the spotlight. Additionally he was so proud of his other step-daughter Breanna and how she lived her life, with such responsibility. And she was always there if Natalee or Stephenie needed her.  Jimmy was exceptionally close to his parents and brother, and treasured the time he spent with them. He had a personality that you always knew where you stood with him. He never held back to let you know that your opinion of him or those he loved did not matter to him. "Nothing's so sacred as honor and nothing's so loyal as love." - Wyatt Earp

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Stephenie Stone, of Louisiana, daughters: Natalee Hollingsworth of Louisiana, and Breanna Schlueter of Vandalia, his parents: Jim and Lila Stone of Louisiana, his brother, Dennis Stone of Louisiana, nephew, Logan Stone, cousin, Heidi McCollum, as well as many other relatives and friends.
