Jarett Austen Johnstone, 16, of Silex, MO, passed away on April 8, 2023.  He was born on May 2, 2006 in Lake St. Louis, MO, the son of Matthew and Suzanne (Korando) Johnstone.  He loved living out in the country exploring the woods and creeks near his home or fixing anything he could get his hands on.  He loved to work on cars, motors and electronics, sharing his knowledge generously wherever he could.  He attended Silex school his entire life where he was a member of FFA, played trumpet in the band and was also a member of the choir.  He was a valued employee at Sauce On The Side in Wentzville, MO.   He loved movies, particularly the Star Wars and Marvel franchises.  Jarett was an outgoing young man who will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
