Jeff Metzler, 55,of Troy, MO, passed away on December 13, 2025 at St. Louis University Hospital. He was born on October 12, 1970 in Charleston, Il to Rex Dean and Ruth Mae ( Pearcy) Metzler. Jeff attended the local schools, along with his siblings. After high school graduation, he joined the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. Jeff and Marlene (Trudelle) Metzler were united in marriage on January 22, 1999 in Charleston, IL.  He worked as a copier service technician for over 25 years and was an excellent employee. Jeff was a Nascar Fan, avid tv watcher, camping, photographer and hiking. He was a loving husband, father, son and friend.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Marlene Metzler of Troy, children, Megan Lauren Metzler of Troy and Alexander Dean Metzler of Troy, his stepfather, Herman Lemons of Manchester, TN, siblings, Cynthia Kay Duvall of Charleston, IL, Joyce Ann (Gary) McMinville, TN, Billy  Wayne Metzler of Charleston, IL, and Steven Lee (Bertha) Metzler of Manchester, TN, many other relatives and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Pamela Sue Metzler.
