*Mr. DeRoy's obituary has been written by his beloved family*

On July 17, 2022, Jeffery Lynn DeRoy, loving husband, and father of 4 passed away at home. Surrounded by his loved ones, at the age of 61. He was born on September 11, 1960 in St. Charles, MO, to Floyd and Delora (Roger) DeRoy. He worked hard to support his family, working out of the Local 660 Union Hall. Jeffery enjoyed hunting, animals, arrowheads, and morrell mushrooms. In addition he enjoyed time spent in his garden, and flower beds. Jeffery would take time out of his day to pick flowers for the love of his life, Sharon Schuler. The happy couple were married on September 29, 1979, and together raised 4 children.

Tomacena Everson, married to John Everson, Delora (Dodi) Davis, preceded him in death. Jeffery Lynn DeRoy Jr and Nicole DeRoy, he leaves behind a multitude of grandchildren, Daymaeon Bradshaw, preceded him in death. Blake and Bethany White, Jimmy White and Jason Dorsey, Hayden DeRoy, and Savanna Lyons. Arianna Gumpenberger, Dasha Davis, Abby DeRoy, Frejah Thompson, Anthony Meyers, and his 2 favorites that were with him at the end, Mya DeRoy, and Riley Anderson, and 2 great grandchildren, Andy White and Lucas DeRoy. Jeffery also leaves behind a loving mother-in-law, he adored, Mary Lou Schuler, a sister-in-law he considered his 2nd wife, and still waiting for his alimony, Thereasa Sutton, his brothers:  Doug DeRoy,  Danny DeRoy, David DeRoy,  and sister, Mary Beth Klemp, a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Proceeding him in death, his parents, Floyd and Delore DeRoy, 2 brothers: Roger DeRoy and Randy DeRoy, 2 sisters: Joellen Schlick and Pam Cissel and his grandson, Daymaeon Bradshaw, and daughter, Delora (Dodi) Davis.

Jeffery DeRoy was very well loved and his absence will be noted and deeply felt.
