Obituary

Jeffrey "Jeff" Dean Martin, 58, of Eolia, formerly of Troy, MO, sadly passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.  He was married to Pamela Dixon on May 1, 1987 and together they raised two sons, Paul Jeffrey and Samuel Robert Martin. He loved his family and was so proud when he became a grandfather, or "Poppy" as he was so loving called by his grandchildren. He enjoyed building bows, spending time in the woods, reading history and playing music with his family. He loved talking with his sons for hours about all things important in their lives. Among his most treasured times were those spent with his grandchildren, whom he adored. Jeff worked at Bodine Aluminum for 25+ years and had many friends and colleagues there who will miss his wit, humor and dedication. He will be sadly missed and long remembered by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his former spouse, Pamela Hanes of Elsberry and their son, Samuel Martin (Lindsey) of Lake St. Louis, MO and daughter-in-law Kaylah Hockman of St. Charles, MO;  sister, Terri Bradford (Jerry), and brother, Wes Martin (Starla). He was loved by four nieces and one nephew. He was a proud and doting Poppy to his grandchildren, Elias, Jubilee, Eve, Caia, Reagan, Harley and Noelle.
Jeff was preceded in death by his son of 28 years, Paul Jeffrey Martin, whom he missed greatly. His dear mother, Jacquline Martin; and father, Darrell Martin. His family takes comfort knowing he is now reunited with those he loved and missed so dearly.
