Obituary

John William Fuhrman, 78, of Troy, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 1, 1947, in Avilla, Indiana, John was the son of Emil and Marilyn Fuhrman. He attended local schools and graduated from high school in Kendallville, Indiana. He went on to serve his country honorably in the United States Army from November of 1965 to October of 1967.

On August 25, 1979, John was united in marriage to Cindy Wyrozynski in Florida. Together they shared 47 years of love, faith, and family.

John spent more than 40 years in car sales, including the last twelve years of his career as sales manager at Price-Gnade Ford before retiring. He was respected for his dedication, friendly nature, and the connections he made with so many through the years.

He enjoyed the things that brought him happiness most - spending time with his family. John dearly loved his grandchildren and cherished attending their games, activities, and special events. He also loved his Corvette, fishing with friends and family, following the Matthew Edler Race Team (17E), cheering on the St. Louis Blues, and his dogs.

As a Christian, John loved Jesus and was a member of Harvester Christian Church and recently Antioch Church, both in Troy, Missouri.

John is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Fuhrman of Troy, Missouri; his children, Tonia Gradeless, Stacy Amerosa, Deanna (Chris) Quinones, A.J. (Kayce) Fuhrman, Rustam (Hanna) Fuhrman, and Arkady (Kayla) Fuhrman; his grandchildren, Zachary, Taylor, Sydney, Jordan, Paige, Ethan, Parker, Ella, Chase, Lilly, Olivia, Josephine, Gwen, and one expected grandchild; his great-grandchildren, Bella, Kastiel, Sadie, Laken, and Mycah.
